<p>The invention relates to a coupling assembly (10) for connecting two members (12, 14). The coupling assembly (10) prevents excessive radial movement, scrubbing of the coupling members (12, 14), and leakage of fluid being transferred through the coupling (10). The coupling assembly (10) includes a tube end (16) having a pair of spaced apart annular beads (18, 20) defining a groove (22) for a resilient seal ring (24) seated in the groove (22) and the other member (14) defines a bore (28) for receiving the tube end (16). A guide ring (36) substantially centers the tube (12) in the bore (28) whereupon a clamping assembly (50) releasable connected to the tube (12) is clamped to the other member (14) securing the tube (12) in the centered position while permitting limited axial movement of the tube (12).</p> |
