<p>The invention concerns a method to be performed in connection with a compartment (2) for reception of powder and similar materials in order to reduce, in an efficient and simple manner, the tendency of arching of the material upon discharge thereof through an opening by actuating the powder and/or housing enclosing the powder in a particular manner. This is achieved in that the actuation affecting the powder and/or housing is performed intermittently, preferably by exposing the housing exterior to impacts. The invention also concerns a device for performing the method.</p> |
