Method of producing a powder of an alloy of two components which in the liq. state are partially soluble in each other and in the solid state are completely insoluble in each other, consists of adding the powders to a grinding mill and intensively mixing and grinding together to give a resultant stable powder in which one component is uniformly and finely dispersed in the other. USE/ADVANTAGE - Producing an Al-Pb alloy powder used as bearing material. The Pb or Pb alloy is very finely dispersed in the Al(alloy).
