The extrusion-moulded section (1) has a screw-duct (9) running in a lengthwise direction so that a screw cam be screwed in with its axis (S) at right angles to the section lengthwise direction, the duct is formed by two parallel lengthwise arms (8,8') whose facing flanks (12,12') have threaded grooves (11) in adjacent rows running in the section lengthwise direction and forming a counter-thread for each screw. The two lengthwise arms (8,8'), within the screw depth (E) of each screw (10) are joined by a bridge-piece (20) bridging the width of the screw duct (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - The screw duct is stabilised without reinforcement to its lengthwise arms.
