PURPOSE:To furthermore reduce a moving space and to make the whole device thin by arranging a focus actuator part and a tracking actuator part on the same plane along the seaking direction of a carriage. CONSTITUTION:The focus actuator part 15 provided with an objective lens 17 and the tracking actuator part 16 provided with a tracking mirror 23 are arranged along the radius direction of an optical disk 10, i.e. the seaking direc tion T of the carriage 13. Thereby, the lateral width in the direction R rectangu lar to the seaking direction T can be shortened. The focus actuator part 15 and the tracking actuator part 16 are arranged on the same plane of the car riage 13 and their size in the height direction rectangular to face of the optical disk 10 can be shortened. Consequently, the whole device can be made thin without increasing the moving space of the optical pickup body 11. |
