A method of measuring the vol. of a hollow body involves releasing a known vol. at a defined press. into the body and converting the resulting press. difference into a parameter representing the measurement vol. The display parameter is the difference press. of two defined equal fluid vol. of identical underpress. after they have flowed into the measurement vol. and into a comparison vol. USE/ADVANTAGE - For rapid measurement of hollow body vol. on a production line. A known method is developed to substantially compensate for temp. and pressure influences, esp. those caused by leaks.
