The independent suspension for a vehicle has a free-hanging rotary stabiliser (4) whose ends (4a,4b) are coupled to the struts (2) guiding the wheels through a linkage part (5). The rotary stabiliser is formed without elbows; its ends are each connected via a bearing arrangement (6), and the devices so formed are angle compensating and torque transmitting bearings. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vehicle wheel suspensionunit of compact design which is relatively simple to install.
