<p>PURPOSE:To continuously prevent vegetable or fruits form striking each other with less labor and at a low cost by a method wherein a lot of soft elastic materials are poured in baskets which contain vegetable or fruits and are conveyed one after another, and the baskets only are withdrawn after they are turned upside down. CONSTITUTION:On the way of transfer, a certain amount of soft elastic materials D are put on vegetable or fruits Y in a basket B by a soft elastic material feeding device 20, and the basket B with a lid closed is turned upside down for nearly 180 deg. by a basket turning device 30. The basket B turned upside down is caught by catchers C while it is conveyed by a basket conveyer 40 and is transferred to a basket-only conveyer 60 by a basket-withdrawal conveyer 50. The vegetable or fruits Y and the soft elastic materials D left on the basket conveyer 40 are transferred to a vegetable-soft elastic material separator 70 to sort them, and the soft elastic materials D only are poured into the baskets B again.</p> |
