The folding trolley for transporting luggage has two telescopic side members (5a,5b). These side members are hinged together at their upper ends (13) to which a handle (4) is attached. A wheel (6) is attached to the lower end of each side member. The side members (5a,5b) are held in the operating position by a cross-member (6) which can be swung to the side of the side member (5a) when the trolley is folded.
