DRIVE WITH RECUPERATION OF MECHANICAL ENERGY

A drive with recuperation of mechanical energy comprises an engine, a mechanical energy accumulator (2) and a holding mechanism connected with an object (1) to be held. The mechanical energy accumulator (2) comprises a casing (9) inside which is located an elastic element (3) rigidly connected to the casing (9) and to the object (1). The casing (9) is mounted rotatably in relation to the longitudinal axis of the elastic element (3) and is kinematically connected to the engine. Due to the increase of the potential energy level of the mechanical energy accumulator (2) by a value needed for compensation of the friction losses at the moments where the object (1) is located in positioning points A and B, the performance of the engine is improved and the reliability of the functioning of the drive with recuperation of mechanical energy is increased.
