<p>The method provides for preparation of an exothermic mixture of powders of silicon oxide or concentrated silicon ore, magnesium or carbone, at the following ratio of the components, in per cent by weight: silicon oxide or concentrated silicon ore 45-55, magnesium 36-44, carbon the balance. The mixture is then tightened up to a density of 1.04-1.63 g/cm3 and subjected to the thermal treatment in a burning regime under a pressure of 0.05-1 MPa with subsequent separation of the silicon carbide powder and the slag by means of a mineral acid.</p> |
