<p>The present invention relates to a time display device comprising a digital display unit (50) for displaying the passage of time set in an electric appliance whose operating time, for instance, can be preset. The time display device is arranged according to the present invention so that a display control switches the display operation performed by the digital display unit (50) to a flickering operation when temperature sensors installed in the electric appliance are turned on, whereby the user is informed of the temperature of the electric appliance exceeding a predetermined value. Instead of the provision of an alarm of this sort such as an alarm buzzer or lamp as in the case of prior art, the provision of such a time display device permits of dispensing with a particular alarm device, so that an increase in the number of parts and therefore an increase in production cost can be prevented.</p> |
