A layer of antistatic coating compn., applied to the woven surface of 1. 3. A polymer base layer, covering 2, so that 2 lies between 1 and 3. Compn. is applied at conc. of 0.1-12 oz./sq. yd. pref. 0.5-3.0 oz./sq. yd. Antistatic compn. is compatible with a wide range of polymeric coating compns., including natural latex, enabling these to be used as base layers for carpets.</p> |
