PURPOSE:To provide the subject inexpensive composition having a high folding strength, non-load Q, etc., and an excellent temperature characteristic, etc., by comprising, as a main component, a specific Zr-Sn-Ti-O solid solution mixed with ZnO, NiO and MnO2 in prescribed amounts, respectively. CONSTITUTION:1-3 pts.wt. of ZnO, 0.1-1 pt.wt. of NiO and 0.05-0.15 pt.wt. of MnO2 are added to 100 pts.wt. of a solid solution comprising a composition of the formula (0.32<=(x)<=0.4) to provide a dielectric porcelain composition. The dielectric porcelain has characteristics such as a folding strength of >=20kg/mm<2>, a high non-load Q of 9000-10000 at 5GHz, a specific dielectric constant of 36.6-36.9 and the temperature characteristic of resonance frequency of -4.6 to +14.8. Since it does not require an expensive raw material, the composition can be inexpensively prepared and is suitably employed as the filter plate of a capacity coupling type band pass filter, etc. |
