PURPOSE:To reduce shock during R-D range change by detecting the change rate of engine speed of an input side during R-D range change to perform such control that a high-speed stage can be set from the time of range change up to the lapse of a set time since the change rate stands a negative value. CONSTITUTION:A controller inputs a range signal from the inhibitor switch of a selection operating means 10 and a turbine engine speed to a range change detecting means 15, and inputs the output thereof and a change rate detecting means 16 for input engine speed of a change gear 4 to a control means 17. Then, it controls a gear stage changing means 7 to change a power transmission path for a change gear mechanism 4 with the control means 17 so that a high- speed can be set from the time of range change detected by a range change time detecting means 15 up to the lapse of a set time is since the change rate detected by the change rate detecting means 16 stands a negative value. It is thus possible to reduce shock involved in the setting of a gear stage during R-D change. |
