摘要 |
PURPOSE: To improve a non-linear LSI which can not be formed by a conventional receiver by including one or more look-up tables for evaluating a presumed channel output signal without any noise in a receiver. CONSTITUTION: Tables LUT<i1> and LUT<i0> are address designated by vectorsΛa<i1> k andΛa<i0> k in which the latest bitsΛa<i1> k=+1 andΛa<i0> k=-1 are arithmetically known. The size of the both tables can be half, and only one part of f(ak) for ak=+1 and -1 is stored in the LUT<i1> and LUT<i0> . The several latest bits ofΛa<ij> k are arithmetically known in a Viterbi detector in each kind of type. This can further reduce the size of each table. The complete vectorΛa<ij> k is arithmetically known for the Viterbi detector. This enables each table to step back to a single register which stores a corresponding assumed channel output without any noise.
