摘要 PURPOSE:To change all of the phase relationship of each typical scattered wave by reflecting mirrors, and to obtain true minimum lock-in frequency by moving at least (n-1) reflecting mirrors of n reflecting mirrors constituting an annular optical path in the tangential direction of the annular optical path. CONSTITUTION:A laser medium is encapsulated into a discharge space constituted by paths 12, 13, 14, laser discharge is conducted among anodes 18, 19 and a cathode 21, and a clockwise progressive wave which makes progress in an annular optical path 22 through successive reflection by reflecting mirrors 15, 16, 17, 15 of laser beams and a counterclockwise progressive wave which makes progress in the annular optical path 22 are generated. When angular velocity centering the central axis 23 of the annular optical path 22 is inputted, a difference is generated in the frequency of two progressive waves. A driving section 24 is driven and controlled by a control circuit, and the reflecting mirrors 15 is reciprocated and shifted in the normal direction thereof. The titled optical angular velocity meter is controlled so that an oscillating wavelength reaches to a Doppler center for the laser medium by the reciprocating motion. Both the reflecting mirrors 15, 16 can be moved in the tangential direction to the annular optical path 22, and driving sections 25, 26 are driven and controlled so that lock-in frequency is minimized by the control circuit.
