PURPOSE:To attain effective utilization of a calling code by stopping the reply operation of a selective call receiver when a timer count-up is finished in a selective call service by a radio wave. CONSTITUTION:When a receiver does not receive a selective call signal of the own station, a response stop alarm request signal is sent from a call response stop timer 93 to an alarm processing circuit 94 and a stop alarm with different signal form is outputted to a speaker 96. After a specified time is elapsed while no restoration is processed, even if the selective call of the own station is received, a call reply timer 93 is in time-over and a signal inhibiting an output of call reply request is given to a selective call reception processing circuit 91, then no call alarm is outputted. When a restoring signal with a call number of the own station is received, a restoration decoder 92 is activated to reset the timer 93 thereby restoring the system to a normal call reply. |
