PURPOSE:To manufacture a mirror-surface product easily without the necessity of finishing process by blow molding a material sheet hot-pressed by means of mirror surface heat rollers to turn its surface into the mirror surface. CONSTITUTION:Mirror surface heat roller units 5 and 6, and 7 and 8 and a mold 11 are heated up to 130 deg.C, and polypropylene sheets 3 and 4 of 1mm thickness are extruded out of slits of dies 1 and 2, and then said sheets 3 and 4 are passed between the mirror surface heat roller units 5 and 6, and 7 and 8,and heat pressed. Extrusion ribs of the sheets 3 and 4 generated at the time of extrusion are eliminated by hot-pressing, and the surfaces are corrected to the mirror surfaces same as those of roller units 5 and 6, and 7 and 8. The sheets 3 and 4 with mirror surfaces thus provided are fed into a mold 9 and clamped while being separated respectively by introducing air from a blowing pipe 10, and pressurized air is blown between the sheets 3 and 4 in a molding space 11 after clamping. The sheets 3 and 4 are brought into contact with the wall surface of the molding space 11 by said arrangement and molded into a mirror surface product of a desired shape. |
