PURPOSE:To detect stroke ends of a cylinder easily and at a reduced cost by detecting leaked magnetic force leaking from a slider to the outside by means of magnets positioned on both sides of outer magnet rows. CONSTITUTION:When a sensor 16 is provided on a sensor rail 17 fixed to the right and left side end caps 14 so that a specified relation on position may be satisfied, it detects only strong leaked magnetic force G1 on both sides without detecting weak magnetic force G2 in the middle among leaked magnetic force G leaking from a slider 10. When the slider 10 reaches the right and left stroke ends, the sensor 16 detects it securely, the lamp 16a of the sensor 16 is lit and a signal is emitted to a control mechanism to stop a magnet cylinder 1 and, in the case of an automated machine, working command is emitted to the other units. |
