PURPOSE:To make the fault tolerant function of a computer to be high-degree by continuing a processing with the other program by means of the re-starting of a program when the program starts the other program so as to attain crashing. CONSTITUTION:A first program (A) 1 stores termination information in a state information area 4, informs a control part 3 of the completion of a starting request and is re-started after the interruption of execution. When termination information is not stored in the state information area 4, the first program 1 re-issues the starting request of a second program and the control part 3 identifies a state that the notice of the completion of the starting request on the second program (B) 2 is not received, and executes the processing as the having started one without executing the starting request. Consequently, a starting source program which is re-started can receive the termination result of a starting destination program when the program starts the starting destination program so as to execute crashing. Thus, the processing can accurately be continued by the re-starting of the starting source program even if the starting destination program updates a file. |
