<p>A method of preparing fibre-reactive formazan compounds, which is characterised by the following steps a) diazotisation of a compound of the formula <IMAGE> coupling with a coupling component of the formula <IMAGE> and metallisation with a heavy metal Me-donating agent before, during or after the coupling b) alkaline hydrolysis of the amino protective groups and c)further reaction of the compounds obtainable by process step b), which in the form of the free acid of the formula <IMAGE> correspond to fibre-reactive formazan dyes, is described. The symbols (A), (B), D, Me, X, R, R', R'', p, q and r in the formulae (2), (3) and (13) in this case have the meaning given in Claim 1.</p> |
