PURPOSE:To generate a synthesized voice wave closer to a natural voice and to obtain a natural intonation under smooth pitch control by varying the arithmetic cycle of a glottis part continuously according to a pitch command. CONSTITUTION:A pitch variation command part 3 supplies a command corre sponding to a pitch fp to a 1st clock output part 41, which outputs an arithmetic clock with a cycle fs corresponding to the pitch fp. The cycle of this arithmetic clock is decided by a decision part 42 and a pitch clock corresponding to the decision result is outputted from a 2nd clock output part 43. In this case, the cycle of the pitch clock is fp. Then data sequences of one sound source stored in a sound source part 1 are denoted as D1-Dn and read out in order from the data D1 with a cycle fs and a glottis part 2 performs arithmetic operation. When the time fp is elapsed from the readout point of time of the data D1, the data are read out in order from the data D1 again and a sound source wave is fed to the glottis part 2 with the cycle fp. |
