<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a share of each load on a tray lift motor or the like by providing a head sensor which detects paper in the uppermost part, accumulated on a discharge paper tray, in a lower limit position in the permissible range of a head between this paper and a paper discharge part, a timer and a control means. CONSTITUTION:In a control means, when paper 18 in the uppermost part, accumulated on a discharge paper tray 8, is detected in the lower limit position in the permissible range of a head between this paper 18 and a paper discharge part 6, time counting by a timer is started. Even during action of this time counting by the timer, paper is discharged and accumulated on the tray 8. The time counted by the timer is set to time such that the paper 18 in the uppermost part on the tray not exceeds the upper limit in the permissible range of the head in the point of time the time counting is ended. When the time counting by the timer is ended, a tray lift motor 14 is operated to lower the tray 8, and when the paper 18 in the uppermost part on the tray 8 is detected to have reached the lower limit position by the sensor 16, the motor 14 is stopped.</p> |
