PURPOSE:To obtain large crystal without adhesion of crystal to the wall of container by dissolving alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester in an aqueous solvent to give a solution and pouring the solution to a solution suspending crystal of the compound while mechanically stirring. CONSTITUTION:alpha-L-Aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester is dissolved in an aqueous solvent to give a solution, which is poured to a solution suspending crystal of alpha-L-aspartyl-L-pheuylalanine methyl ester while mechanically stirring to crystallize alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester.
