PURPOSE:To eliminate irksome operation by allowing the circuit to return to an natural state after displaying an indication different from normal state for a certain time or another indication of specific characters and figures in a case where a time counting circuit driven by another battery stops operating before time correction or during correction. CONSTITUTION:When a correction mode switch key 4 is pushed at the time when the power source voltage of a battery 1 is in a range of normal operation of a time counting circuit 2, it is switched to a time correction condition to allow an indication control circuit 3 to read in time data 12 to perform a time indication at the time of normal operation to complete correction so as to return to an ordinary visual image when an hour key 5 or a minute key 6 is pushed and the correction switch key 4 is pushed again. When a power source voltage 11 lowers down to an inoperative range and the correction mode switch key 4 is pushed, 'Exchange batteries' and '--:--' are indicated on a display 10 and it automatically returns to the normal image indication condition without key operation after a specified time. Thereby, irksome operation can be eliminated. |
