<p>PURPOSE:To reduce generation of exhaust gas and enable miniaturization of a deodorizing device, hot sterilization free from odor pollution and hot-melt capacity reduction, by a method wherein waste plastic is stocked within a melting furnace, which is closed up tightly and kept warm, melting as it is and a small quantity of the generated exhaust gas is fired for decomposition with an afterburner. CONSTITUTION:Waste plastic 7 is put into a receiving box 6 and put on a shelf plate 2 by opening a door 5 of a melting furnace 1. After the door 5 is closed up tightly, the furnace 1 is heated with a sheathed heater 4 set up in the melting furnace 1. The low-temperature heating sheathed heater 4 whose output per unit area is low and area is wide is used as the heater. Exhaust gas generated from the melting furnace 1 is combustion-decomposed through a burner fan 10, afterburner 11 and combustion chamber 12, made into a smokeless and odorless state and discharged through a chimney 13. The waste plastic 7 can be melted uniformly and taken out as congealed waste plastic by performing forced circulation of inner heating air of the melting furnace 1.</p> |
