PURPOSE:To restrain the rotation of a body to be restrained and allow other motion by allowing the X-axial motion of the body to be restrained by a horizontal link and allowing the Z-axial motion and motion on a thetaZ axia by a rotary member and a rod. CONSTITUTION:This rotation restraint device is so constituted that links 3 and 3 can swing on pins 2 and 2 as shown by an arrow 14. The rod 9 can rotate on pins 6 and 6 as shown by an arrow 15 together with a sleeve 8 and the rotary member 7, and are slidable in a sleeve 8 as shown by an arrow 16. The rod 9 is further rotatable on its center axis in the sleeve 8 as shown by an arrow 17. A restrained body holder 11 is rotatable on horizontal pins 12 and 12 as shown by an arrow 18. Therefore, the body to be restrained which is held by the restrained body holder 11 is restrained from rotating on the thetaY axis and allowed to move freely in other directions. |
