In a method for attaching additional ground preparation equipment 9, 16 to an agricultural implement, which comprises a roller 1 for agricultural use, which is rotatably mounted at its ends 2 in the roller support arms 3, which are rigidly attached to a roller carrier bar 4, which in the roller operating position is situated above the roller 1 and runs parallel with the axis 5 of the roller, the equipment 9, 15 is attached to the roller carrier bar 4 by way of two or more rigidly attached fixing elements 6A and/or 6B running transversely out from the bar 4 either on that side of the bar facing in the working direction 16 of the roller 1 or on the opposite side thereof, and the fixing elements 6A and/or 6B are designed to carry the equipment 9 and/or 15, so that in its operating position the bottom ends of the equipment can be made to extend further down than the lowest points of the roller 1. The fixing element 6A and/or 6B has means 7 for rigidly attaching it to the roller carrier bar 4 in a position extending perpendicular out from the bar either to that side thereof facing the working direction 16 of the roller or to the opposite side thereof, and the bottom side of the fixing element carries equipment, such as a plank drag 9 and/or a harrow 15 or other soil preparation equipment together with the bottom end of at least one further fixing element 6A and/or 6B of the same type. <IMAGE>
