PURPOSE:To efficiently perform reaction by forming a catalytic layer of a spiral and continuous layer, forming a heating layer spirally while making it parallel and adjacent to this catalytic layer and furthermore regulating both the flow of a gaseous raw material in the catalytic layer and the flow of a heating medium in the heating layer to the same direction. CONSTITUTION:A catalytic layer 6 for allowing a gaseous raw material (e.g. hydrogen and oxygen) to react with each other is formed of a spiral and continuous layer. Also a heating layer 9 is spirally formed while making it parallel and adjacent to the catalytic layer 6. In this equipment, both the flow of the gaseous raw material in the catalytic layer 6 and the flow of a heating medium in the heating layer 9 are regulated to the same direction. As a result, the equipment has a structure little in the number of parts and the reaction route of the gaseous raw material can be lengthened. Further the initial stage of reaction can be regulated at the high temp. and the later stage thereof can be regulated at the low temp. Thereby the reaction efficiency can be made excellent. |
