<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape threading mechanism whose threading accuracy is excellent and whose adjustment is eliminated at the time of assembly by providing a thread pin which is engaged with a leader block to the tip part of a thread arm which is guided by a holding member so that it can be moved in an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge 33 is set to a magnetic tape device, the thread arm 39 is rotated by a motor for driving the holding member and the thread pin is engaged with the leader block 31 of the cartridge 33. Next, the motor for driving the holding member is driven in a reverse direction and the leader block 31 is guided to the leader block engagement groove 34a of a machine reel 34 along a guide 43. Then, the machine reel 34 is driven and rotated clockwise by a prescribed quantity by a motor for driving the machine reel and prescribed tension is given to a magnetic tape 32. Besides, the magnetic tape 32 abuts on a tape guide roller 44, a head 46 and a tape guide roller 45 and the loading of the tape is finished.</p> |
