<p>PURPOSE:To broaden the variable width of a resistance value and to adjust a function extending over a wide range by initially forming a thick-film resistor having sheet resistance values of a different kind is parallel and changing the thick-film resistor into series connection through cutting work by laser beams. CONSTITUTION:A thick-film resistor 2 using ruthenium oxide(RuO2) as a material and having a sheet resistance value of 10OMEGA/square, a thick-film resistor 3 having 500OMEGA/square and a joining section 4 are printed and baked and formed onto a pillow electrode 1 composed of Ag-Pd (silver-palladium). Parts required for adjusting a function are loaded, a circuit is operated, a specified resistance value is predicted, and a path D is selected after A cutting and a path C after B cutting in the cutting paths of the resistors by a YAG laser in order of the high rates of resistance changes, thus adjusting the function. The method can be applied easily even at the time of using three kinds or more.</p> |
