PURPOSE:To read, enlarge, and display a potential distribution pattern by simple constitution with sufficient resolution by reading and displaying a potential latent image electrically by using laser light and electrooptic crystal. CONSTITUTION:A selenium film plate 20 where the potential latent image is formed is mounted on a sample base 27. A scan register 53 is actuated with a control signal from a CPU 60 to start the two-dimensional scanning of a laser probe 40. A generator 53 shifts a probe in position and supplies a synchronizing signal to an ADC 51, an arithmetic circuit 52, and a VM 35. The scanning light of the laser probe 40 is made incident on respective points of the crystal 25 by two-dimensional scanning mechanisms 45 and 46 through a polarizer 41, a lambda/4 plate 42, a reflecting mirror 43, and a beam splitter(BS) 33. Reflected light from the crystal 25 travels backward and passes through the BS 33 and an analyzer 32a to enter a photodetector 32b. Its output is inputted to a TV 36 through the ADC 51 and a video memory 35 and the read potential latent image is displayed. |
