PURPOSE:To reduce the size of the apparatus and to simplify the apparatus by disposing dilute sample vessels and reaction vessels respectively to respective turn tables, thereby reducing the installation area of a dilute sample vessel transfer section and a reaction vessel transfer section. CONSTITUTION:A three-way valve 32 of a sample dispensing device 30 is switched to a tank 34 side and a prescribed volume of a diluting liquid is sucked into a pump 33. The valve 32 is then switched to a nozzle 36 side and the nozzle 36 is moved to the vessel of the sample vessel transfer mechanism 20 to suck the prescribed volume of the sample. The nozzle 36 is then moved to the turn table 1 and the prescribed volume of the sample and the diluting liquid are discharged into the dilute sample vessel 2. The pump 33 is operated to suck the prescribed volume of the dilute sample from the vessel 2 and the nozzle 36 is moved to the turn table 5 where the prescribed volume of the dilute sample is dispensed into the reaction vessel 7. A reagent is dispensed into the vessel in the stage of transferring the vessel 7 to a photometric section 15. The reaction of the component to be analyzed and the reagent is detected by the photometric section 25 and the concn. of the component to be analyzed is measured. |
