PURPOSE:To execute the optimum control of an image in spite of the variation of humidity by using two kinds of toner concentration detecting means having different humidity characteristics, calculating toner concentration, controlling it to a specified value and correcting the output value of the toner concentration detecting means based on the output signal of a humidity detecting means. CONSTITUTION:At least two kinds of toner concentration detecting means having different humidity characteristics, that is, a magnetic sensor 7 and a photosensor 8, are used so as to process to cancel the variation caused by the humidity based on the data of the magnetic sensor 7 and the photosensor 8 by referring to a conversion table. The calculated toner concentration data is inputted in a toner replenishing controller 91. Furthermore, the output values of the magnetic sensor 7 and the photosensor 8 are corrected based on the humidity which is detected by the humidity sensor 80. Thus, the optimum replenishment of toner is accomplished in spite of the variation of the humidity and an image producing process is controlled with the optimized toner concentration. |
