<p>PURPOSE:To improve user's operability by providing an input means for specifying a recording order, a means for arithmetically operating the moving quantity of a medium and a means for storing the arithmetically operated result and sequentially controlling reserved recording based on the arithmetically operated result which is stored. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic means 25 performs arithmetic processing in accordance with a specified algorithm by receiving output from the input means 21 and a storage means 22. Though it is a program A that is recorded first, the recording order on a magnetic tape T is specified like a figure, so that a time which is earlier by the length Tc of the broadcasting time of a program C, that means, t0-Tc is outputted as a video recording start time. When output from a timer 23 coincides with the arithmetically operated result t0-Tc, a sequence control means 24 outputs a video recording command and outputs a stopping command at a time t1. Based on the relation between the current position of the tape T and a next video recording start position, the moving quantity of the tape is controlled and the recording of a program B which should be recorded next is performed in advance of the obtained position. Thus, the tape needs not be moved.</p> |
