PURPOSE:To operate a large number of printers with one host device by branching received data from the host device with a prescribed control procedure, and performing data transmission/reception between plural low-order devices. CONSTITUTION:A block 101 performs the division of data and a control signal for each channel and the synthesis of the control signal to take the synchronization of each channel. Blocks 102-121 are the ones to perform the control of each channel, and are provided with drivers and receiver circuits of one channel for interface. A block 122 is an operator panel, and performs channel selection which channel should be operated and the display of a status signal from each channel. Thereby, a large number of printers can be operated simultaneously with one host device. |
