<p>PURPOSE:To treat waste gas with high efficiency at a low cost by depositing a liq. absorbent on a powdery carrier, injecting the carrier into the waste gas from the incinerator to absorb harmful gases and then collecting the carrier by a dust collector. CONSTITUTION:A part of the dust collected by the dust collector 6 is sent to an agitator 14 from a distributor 11 through a carrier conveyor 13. A liq. absorbent such as an aq. sodium hydroxide soln. is supplied from an absorbent tank 15 and sprinkled over the dust as a carrier in the agitator 14, and both materials are mixed and agitated. The carrier coated with the absorbent is injected into an absorption reactor 5 through an injection pipe 17 and dispersed in the waste gas. The dispersed carrier is brought into contact with the gas, and the harmful gases are absorbed by the absorbent on the surface. The carrier and the dust in the gas are then collected by the dust collector 6. As a result, the operation is easily controlled, the changes in the waste gas properties such as the amt. and temp. and the harmful gas concn. and the alteration in the regulation values are widely coped with, the cost is reduced, and the removal rate is increased.</p> |
