<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the nearly ideal club shaft by using fibers having high strength and low strength for fiber reinforced plastic shafts and increasing the ratio of the fibers having the low strength successively with an increase in the number of the clubs. CONSTITUTION:The fiber reinforced plastic shafts are formed by blending the fibers of the high strength and the low strength or using the fibers of either strength and the blending ratio thereof is so changed that the ratio of the fibers of the low strength increases gradually with an increase in the number of the clubs to form the golf club set by using the above-mentioned shafts. The clubs of the smaller number have the higher strength and are more resistant to failure if the fibers of the high strength and the low strength are used in such a manner. In addition, the amt. of using the high-strength fibers over the entire part of the set is reduced and the inexpensive golf club set is obtd.</p> |
