PURPOSE:To stabilize the position of an ion blocking electrode and to provide an internally stacked battery having low internal resistance and high efficiency by installing tongue-like locking pieces which project downward on the inside of an ion blocking electrode pressing member made of an insulating tube. CONSTITUTION:An ion blocking electrode pressing member 3 is inserted in a positive can 1 along its inner wall and fixed with a gasket 4. A positive current collector 6 is placed inside the positive can 1, and an battery element 11 comprising a positive mix 8, a separator 9, and a negative mix 10 is placed on the positive current collector 6, then an ion blocking electrode 7 is pushed thereon to passing through elastic locking pieces 3A and placed on the battery element 11 with the battery element 11 and the positive current collector 6 compressed. After compression pressure was removed, restoration of the ion blocking electrode 7 toward the stacking direction is hindered by the locking pieces 3A, and downward compression is maintained. |
