PURPOSE:To simplify an infrared-ray detecting device and to make the size of said device small by vibrating one of superimposed counter bodies incapable of passing infrared-rays through a bimorph driven by an output of detecting infrared-rays to detect synchronously an AC signal from an infrared-ray detecting body. CONSTITUTION:The nontransmissive bodies 25, 27 of infrared-rays provided respectively to the first and second transmissive bodies 24, 26 of infrared-rays are opposed and superimposed to and on each other. The body 27 is coupled to the bimorph 28 and vibrated together with the bimorph 28 vibrated and driven by the AC signal of prescribed amplitude and frequency, and the infrared-rays, subjected to choppering is detected by an infrared-ray detector 5. The detected output is detected sychronously with the AC signal for driving the bimorph. Thereby, a chopper motor, a chopper and synchronous pulse generator, etc. are made unnecessary, and the constitutin of the infrared-ray detecting device can be simplified and miniaturized. |
