PURPOSE:To enable efficient cooking by providing a bedplate consisting of a spring which varies the number of vibration epending up on the weight of a material to be heated, calculating the weight of the material to be heated from the number of vibration, and controlling the output of a high-frequency oscillator and the oscllating time in correspondence to the calculated weight. CONSTITUTION:The high-frequency oscillator 6 is provided at the inner part of a heating chamber 5 accommodating therein the material 7 to be heated, and high- frequency energy is supplied thereto, and the bedplate 8 of the material to be heated, on which the material to be heated is placed and which consists of the spring 12 whose number of vibration undergoes change depending upon the weight of the mateiral to be heated, is provided. The strength of a magnetic field from a magnet 10 vibrating similaryly as the vibration of the spring 12 is detected by a magnetic field intensity detecting part 11 to detect the number of vibration. At a microcomputer, the weight of the material to be heated is calculated based on the thus detected number of vibration, and the output, the heating mode, and the heating time of the oscillator 6 are controlled in accordance with the weight of the material to be heated. That is, by only placing the foodstuff within the heating chamber, the weight of the foodstuff is measured, and the heating time and the like in correspondence to the weight thereof are automatically calculated, and hence the convenience for use is improved. |
