The invention relates to a self-lubricating coating, by dry and protective lubrication, especially for tools (equipment) and assembling means. This coating consists of a very thin continuous film having good adherence to its substrate, a low coefficient of friction with respect to common materials and a good abrasion resistance. This coating is preferably made of P.T.F.E. Application: cutting tools and drawn products.
