<P>La présente invention est relative à un caoutchouc thermoplastique amélioré et à un procédé pour sa fabrication, ledit caoutchouc étant du type comprenant un premier caoutchouc thermoplastique dont l'élément thermoplastique est un élastomère.</P><P>Ce caoutchouc comprend également, mélangé à ce premier caoutchouc thermoplastique, soit un caoutchouc traditionnel, soit un second caoutchouc thermoplastique dont l'élément thermoplastique est aussi un élastomère, ledit second caoutchouc thermoplastique étant alors de nature différente de celle du premier caoutchouc thermoplastique, le caoutchouc traditionnel ou le second caoutchouc thermoplastique associé au premier caoutchouc thermoplastique, compatible ou rendu compatible avec ledit premier caoutchouc thermoplastique, ayant été finement dispersé dans ce premier caoutchouc thermoplastique et ayant été vulcanisé in situ à l'aide d'un agent de vulcanisation inactif vis-à-vis dudit premier caoutchouc thermoplastique.</P><P>Le caoutchouc selon l'invention est remarquable en ce qu'il permet d'obtenir de basses duretés Shore A.</P>
