X-RAY DETECTOR AND X-RAY CT SCANNER

摘要

PURPOSE:To lower a hysteresis characteristic by providing a opto-electro transducing means at a part of one surface of a scintillator to convert into an electrical signal light from this one surface. CONSTITUTION:A scintillator 20 which is an extension 20A formed so as not to face a photodiode 12 is used as such while a surface light emitting element 22 which can control the turning ON or OFF, quantity of light and the like with a controller is bonded on the extension 20A, for example, by an optical adhesive material or the like. A reflecting paint or the like is applied on surfaces other then the extension 20A of the scintillator 20 to shield light. This allows light with the element 22 to reach the extension 20A of the scintillator 20 facing the element 22 while diffusing entirely over the scintillator 20 thereby enabling the lowering of a hysteresis characteristic of the scintillator 20.
