The invention relates to a device making it possible to hear the noises or exterior sounds from the surroundings while listening to a music programme on a radio or television set with the aid of a headset, through a momentary interruption of the programme being listened to, caused by the device, at the time a noise occurs. It consists of a housing 1 having on one side an orifice wherein is placed a headset jack 2 which allows connection to a radio 3 and, on the other side, an orifice inside which is placed a headset socket 4 which provides for the connection to the headset 5. Inside the housing 1 is the system 6 which will make it possible with each exterior noise 8 picked up by the microphone 7 to interrupt the programme being listened to 3 through the headset 5, so as to hear this noise in question 8, by straightening two upper reeds 9. Three seconds later, the reeds 9 revert to their initial position and will enable the music programme 3 to be listened to again normally, in the same manner as before the noise 8 occurred. <IMAGE>
