PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate the age of a passenger by executing fuzzy inference based upon the various physical features of age discrimination data. CONSTITUTION:The hair length, hair color, stature, and weight which are the features classified by the age of a person passing a gate or the like are discriminated by corresponding discrimination parts 16, 18, 20, 22 through TV cameras 8, 10, light emitting sensors 12a to 12c, a sensor signal processor 14, and a weight meter 6. Fuzzy inference is executed by a fuzzy inference part 24 based upon the discriminated results, so that the age of each passenger can be automatically and accurately inferred based upon the plural discriminated results. |
