PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and reduce cost by a method wherein a driving torque is obtained by only magnetic repulsive force between the magnetic poles of N-poles and S-poles, projected from a magnet rotor, and other magnetic poles, provided on a stator. CONSTITUTION:When four sets of magnetic poles 16d, 16h,... are excited so as to have polarities shown in a diagram by the conduction of an armature coil, a magnet rotor 1 generates a driving torque in the direction of an arrow sign A in the diagram due to magnetic repulsive forces while radial magnetic repulsive forces are equilibrated and the magnet rotor 1 is levitated and rotated. When the rotor 1 is turned by 45 deg., four sets of magnetic poles 16a, 16e,... are excited so as to have polarities shown in the diagram and, therefore, levitating effect due to the driving of the magnet rotor 1 in the arrow sign direction and the equibrium of repulsive forces in radial direction is generated by the magnetic repulsive force. When the rotor is turned by 90 deg., the magnetic rotor 1 is levitated and driven into the direction of arrow sign A by the excitation of four sets of magnetic poles 16b, 16f,.... When the rotor is turned by further 90 deg., the magnetic rotor 1 is levitated and driven into the same direction by the excitation of four sets of magnetic poles 16c, 16g,.... The rotor may be turned as a 2-phase repulsive type motor by such exciting cycles. |
