PURPOSE:To observe a video image concealing a high vision broadcast by providing a setting means setting a variable value of timing and varying the timing of a Y window and the C window in 1st and 2nd variable length shift registers in response to the setting value. CONSTITUTION:When a signal of the HDTV system is received and for example a left moving switch is operated, a data in response to the operation is shifted by a shift register 3 and latched. The output timing of Y window and C window is varied in response to the latched data in 1st and 2nd variable length shift registers 4, 5. Then an extracted area 2 is moved to the left side of the pattern 1 of the HDTV system and when the operation is consecutive, the extracted area is moved continuously to the left end. Thus, the video image of the left end 1a in the pattern 1 of the high Vision broadcast is displayed on the pattern of the NTSC or EDTV systems. |
