The screen for providing protection from the wind and the sun consists of two rectangular frames (1) and (2) which are hinged together. Each frame (1) or (2) supports a row of vertical slats (6). Each slat (6) has a spindle projecting from its upper and from its lower end. These spindles are supported on bearings in the upper (4) and lower (5) horizontal members of the rectangular frames (1,2). EAch slat can thus be rotated about its vertical axis. The slats of each frame are interconnected by the actuating mechanism so that they are all rotated together. USE - Protection against sun and wind.
